A Brkich Design Group Project. A new semi-permanent ArtWalk is being installed along the Allegheny River in downtown Pittsburgh, PA. The client wanted this visual identity to strongly reflect the location of the ArtWalk, so we started brainstorming the best was to capture a fun, 'artsy' take on the surrounding landscape. The result was a museum-inspired logo with a unique, abstract mark which represents the bridges, water, and paths along the ArtWalk. Keeping with the location-based identity, the brand pattern is made up of groupings of small shapes similar to what you might find on a map key.
